Warning! Hazardous Materials!

In science we have been learning all about Microbes!

We know that Microbes live in the air and that we must take steps to prevent Microbes accessing our bodies and our food!

Can you remember any ways we can prevent the spread of Microbes?

Look at what happened to Mrs Comack's food when the Microbes started to eat it!

What could Mrs Comack have done to prevent her food becoming SO MOULDY?

EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

EUREKA!

Today in year 4/5/6 we had an exciting visit from an experienced and enthusiastic inventor! He told us all about his most recent inventions and how he came up with the ideas! The children then got a chance to question him for a Newspaper report they will write this week.

The talented and passionate inventor showed us his 'Plaster Blaster' and a few children even got a chance to try Mr Hutchinson's mysterious 'Formula P'; an invention that is 'still in progress'.

Amazing Art

After we talked about the events of 9/11 last Tuesday (September 11th) Keelan went home and created a beautiful piece of artwork about that tragic day.

He brought it in to show us and it is now up in our classroom! We hope you like it as much as we did!

Well done Keelan!
