This term our topic is 'Things Are Hotting Up!' and we have been learning all about Global Warming. We have learnt what causes it, and how we can stop it! This week the children are designing inventions to create renewable energy! Some children are even making their invention (photos will follow)!

Olympic fun!
At the end of last half term Charlie Murgatroyd visited our school and lots of us had our photo taken with Charlie's Olympic Torch!!
We all paid a £1 donation to dreamflights, a charity that Charlie is raising money for to help send very poorly children on a once in a lifetime trip to Disneyland, Florida.

Today in year 4/5/6 we had an exciting visit from an experienced and enthusiastic inventor! He told us all about his most recent inventions and how he came up with the ideas! The children then got a chance to question him for a Newspaper report they will write this week.
