In class we have been recommending books to each other!

These are the books that children in our class have read and enjoyed!

Danny the Champion of the World - Roald Dahl
Percy Jackson - Rick Riordan
Mr Stink, Billionaire Boy, Gangsta Granny - David Walliams
The Wizard of OZ - L. Frank Baum
The Lottie Project, Lilly Alone, Hettie Feather, Emerald Star (and basically all other Jacqueline Wilson books!)
The Scullduggery Pleasant series - Derek Landy
Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism - Georgia Byng
Famous Five, The Magic Faraway Tree - Enid Blyton
The Power of Five - Anthony Horowitz
Mudpuddle Farm - Michael Morpurgo
The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins

If you're struggling for what to read next, why not look at our list and pick a book from there?

If you read any books over half term that you think are recommendation worthy, tell us what the book was and why you enjoyed it!

Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism is about a 10 year old girl who lives in a orphanage. One day, she goes to the library and finds a mysterious book about hypnotism. Learning all the tricks, she finds out that she has a gift of hypnotism and she starts her adventure to a world full of danger for her. There's a series of 6 books if you like the 1st one.

I would also recommend The Sercet Hen House Theatre by Helen Peters, Scarlett by Cathy Cassidy, and The Ingo Chronicles Stormswept by Helen Dunmore.
