Warning! Hazardous Materials!

In science we have been learning all about Microbes! 

We know that Microbes live in the air and that we must take steps to prevent Microbes accessing our bodies and our food!

Can you remember any ways we can prevent the spread of Microbes?

Look at what happened to Mrs Comack's food when the Microbes started to eat it!





What could Mrs Comack have done to prevent her food becoming SO MOULDY?

The potatoe was discusting it stunk ! only becuase Mrs comack let it go mouldy ewwwww

The pictures: Left to right
1. Pear with a bite
2. Mouldy potato
3. Rotten Banana
4. 4 month old jam
Mrs Comack should have kept the potato and banana outside and the jam in a cupboard. As for the pear...you should throw it away. Keep foods sealed if they are outside. Never put perishable foods outside or they can become mouldy.
