I personally recommend the Mystery collection by Enid Blyton. Solve mysteries with the six find outers and dog: Fatty(Frederick)Larry, Daisy, Pip(Phillip)Bets(Elizabeth)and Ern. Find out who set fire to Mr Hick's cottage, or who changes the paintings overnight at Banshee Towers. This collection is suitable for 7+.

The Raspberry Rules
By Karen Mcombie

This book is really good because it had happy and sad moments. Friendship is the key and the main character, who is called Rowan, has enimes and friends at the same time. She even thinks a girl is a boy!!!!!! She sometimes thinks she's younger than she is because she is 13 and her younger sister is more sensible at age 11.

Girls would probably enjoy it this more because at some points it gets quite girly! It is for 9 to 11 years old and really exciting!

Lily Alone
by Jaqueline Wilson

I absolutely loved this book because it was really funny. It was about Lily ( the oldest of four) and Baxter, Bliss and Pixie. When their mum goes on holiday with her new boyfriend, they are left in the house alone... as she is the oldest, it is Lily's job to keep her troublesome brother and sisters in order!

I would recommend this brilliant book to girls who are 9 0r over. It's utterly and completely AMAZING!

Lily Alone
By Jaqueline Wilson

I thought this book was great because it was exiting!
The book was about an 11 year old girl who had 1 brother and 2 sisters.Basically this book is about when there mum goes on holiday with her boyfriend Gordan.Lily is not very happy with that because she doesn't want her mum to go on holiday with her knew boyfriend.Lily has to look after her kids oh no.

I would recommend this book to girls nine and over.

I would recommend Tom Gate books by Liz Pichon because they are really good and the writing is spaced out so it looks more interesting. There is loads of different books of Tom Gates but the best one i have read so far is Tom Gates Genius ideas. They are about a boy named Tom and he is in a band with his friends Derek and Norman, the band is called dog zombies.
